advice as to best tiles for small cloakroom and ensuite
Comments (5)Hello, Isidora is correct here putting forward a porcelain product. They are far more robust than natural products and choosing a large format material will certainly make the space look bigger. We are seeing a big push for Concrete Effect material at the moment as well which will give your space a clean and contemporary feel. Here is an image of a 1200x1200mm tile from a project that we supplied. https://www.houzz.co.uk/photos/kitchen-conproj-grey-lp-1200x1200-contemporary-kitchen-london-phvw-vp~44310654 We have many more large format options in a variety of finishes on our website, you can also order samples from there as well. Comments (12)Hi Jess, your concerns about the basin are quite right. 500 mm space left in front of the basin is hardly enough and you will have trouble to even turn around. If you are limited with the width of the cloakroom, why not make use of the length of it and put the basin behind the toilet like on the photos attached? Or clients have done it and seem to be very pleased with the solution. We would be happy to help you with your new cloakroom design....See Moreadvice needed for utility and cloakroom layout please!
Comments (9)If you keep the Hallway door where it is, it makes things more difficult. The toilet is best placed between lounge and Utility, so if you keep the doorway there, you would enter a long narrow space, making the basin difficult to place. Also, are you taking out the Chimney Stack?. I'd go for integrated appliances rather than stacking as you have plenty of room, and something a little like this possibly. Of course it also depends on whether or not you want access from the kitchen because of washing etc, or the Hallway because that's easier for the coats and shoes. Choice is yours....See MoreCloakroom splashback or tiles advice
Comments (5)Its all very smooth and shiny so maybe a good opportunity to bring in some texture or pattern with tiles. Probably cheaper and there are so many beautiful ones to choose from. https://www.firedearth.com/fountains...See Moreminnie101
