I need my home reshingled. i need help on choosing color

I had this roof re shingled by a handyman 5 years ago but did such a poor job I want to re shingle the whole house.
I am dealing with a licensed contractor this time with a BBB is A plus. They are using Cambridge AR shingles so we need to pick a color and we think dual brown will go but what about what about other colours. Maybe driftwood? We tried roof viewer but hard to get true colours off a computer.

I have two to do more, but i've had enough for today, practically all my wall done, i havent taken a picture yet because its a mess on my table and i cant be arsed to tidy up. I have a banging headache from this paint and the white spirit used to clean, have turned off the music and just need to sit in a quiet room for now.... lol I will post a picture when it is tidy and have finished my second frame! Might do it later, or leave it for another night...

Gray is the new beige. Neutrals are necessary to keep a home from looking like a box of crayons, but do you really want to have your whole home painted neutral? Almost no one hates beige or gray, but I rarely find anyone who says "My favorite color is Gray!" or "I love beige!" I had a white walls and light beige tile floors for many years and people would come into my home and say how clean my home always looked. With all the natural light it did always scream clean! Now I have a maroon kitchen, purple undertoned taupe ceilings and walls in the main part of the home and blue greens in the bathrooms and bedrooms. My accents are blue greens, purples and reds. People come in now and say "Your home is beautiful", "Who helped you find these colors?", "Wow, I love your home!". My house is not what you will find in any magazine, it defies trends and will never be dated. I picked colors that I love and added a neutral that worked with the deep reds, blue greens and purples that I love. Picking the right neutral was really dependent on picking the colors that I love and finding the neutral that worked best with those colors. What is your favorite outfit. The one that makes you feel like you are walking on water? If it is a grey suit with a bright red shirt, then paint your home grey and have bright red accents. You want your home to reflect who you are, not what is popular today.

I love that you moved the front door, it gives you a nice welcoming space to come home to and to greet visitors. Another few thoughts for consideration. The front of the main section of the house looks a little out of scale now because it's volume is so large and unbroken. What if you either painted the siding at the height of the garage door on down the color of the foundation under the porch, or removed that section of siding and replaced it with a stone facing? If the garage door was the color of this section or close to it, it would recede and allow the front entrance to stand out more. The face of the white part of the house would be in scale then. If you want to replace the garage door, you could go with a carriage door type, which would suit the style of your house. Your orange chairs on the porch are so much fun! Consider a fun color for the front too, maybe yellow? Some landscaping from the driveway along the steps would also draw the visitors eye to the front door. Your home is beautiful and you must be enjoying it very much!
