Crittall internal doors effect - any other alternative?
Comments (8)Hi we do another version from Crittall - called aluminium steel look which are not as expensive as Crittall, and a lot more popular as another option - lead-time is not as long either! http://www.croydonwindows.com/architectural-glazing-services/aluminium-steel-look/ https://www.houzz.co.uk/projects/2775990/aluminium-steel-look...See MoreCrittal Style Aluminium sliding or folding doors
Comments (186)Fiona - I’ve been looking into replacing some doors with Crittal style and have contacted loads of suppliers and companies. The one that I’ve been most impressed with is the company mentioned above by Lou Valdini - Merlin Windows in Yorkshire. (I’m in the East Midlands). They gave me a competitive quote really quickly and then I got a quote from the fitter mentioned. (They fit across the UK and they link in with Merlin to ensure timings etc). It’s likely that we will go ahead in the next few months. (Just need to convince husband as he prefers chunky timber 😂)...See MoreKitchen cupboard style with crittall doors
Comments (10)I think you can get a deVOL style kitchen on a smaller budget. I think the key part is design which makes them stand out so personally would speak to Karen at OnePlan on this thread. Karen can design a kitchen for you and then you can shop around for the actual kitchen to suit the budget. Unfortunately I don't think deVOL sell their accessories unless you're buying a kitchen but flooring and tiles are available from their sister company on the link. Taps are made by Perrin and Rowe (unfortunately not the aged brass as designed exclusively for deVOL). Their paint palette is very limited but some of Little Greene and F&B look quite similar or take a photo and get it colour matched at Johnstones. Normally the way the kitchen is accessorised, using a few antiques etc, stands out to me as being deVOL so would post on here for help with accessories and handles as I'm sure people will be able to help you achieve the look you want. Not sure if that Is any help at all! Crittall style doors sound fab btw! https://www.floorsofstone.com/our-tile-range/planks-parquet...See Morecrittall style window layout
Comments (44)Jonathan originally said taller crittall would look better than the shorter ones even if we had less of them Posted a pic again of the whole room layout for you @Emily. It will have a dark blue black shaker kitchen with suspended chimney extractor on cables and wood effect floor. I’ve seen industrial style kitchens with both crittall and wider bifolds and they both look nice. I would go with bifolds for the cost now because we have a max budget to spent on the house to ever get our money back (it’s not that we can’t afford to do what we want as such but you don’t want to throw money away!) even though I love the Crittall BUT it’s the practical side that we can’t agree on now...See MoreLiza CCC
