Try getting them to hang in a more regimented way by folding them. Working along the bottom fold the curtains back and forth so they concertina. Make sure you pull the linings into the same position. Once finished secure the bottoms by tying them in that position, tidy the middles so they are following the same creases as the bottom. I think you will find if you leave them for a couple of days they will fall naturally into the folds you made....See MoreNeed help finding curtains that will compliment my sofa.
Comments (4)Do you want a pattern on the curtains or not? Your colour scheme reminds me of a very famous Mexican architect Ricardo Legoretta who put together reds oranges pinks and purples in a hotel that he was commissioned to design called Camino Real in Mexico DF in the 60s whre I once stayed - it was so weird - unless I had been in that room I would never have imagined huge splashes of these colours together would work - but it looked great - so how about going for red or red fading into pink (how it does on sillk) in quite a heavy warm material - btw LOVE the cushions !...See Morehelp putting everything together
Comments (19)Hi Katie, I don't know how set you are on curtains but I think shutters would look great on your windows with your current interior - simplistic but chic: Regarding the wall behind the TV, I can't imagine wallpaper along the length of it, especially if you'll have a patterned rug - maybe you could turn it into a feature wall by painting it a slightly different shade? If not, I don't think the section of wall behind the TV unit itself looks too stark - it's more the part of the wall to the right of it, which you could hang artwork, framed photos, a mirror, or have some kind of statement piece from. For the coffee table, perhaps a contemporary glass top table, like one of these: Table 1, Table 2, Table 3. Or a rustic wooden table, like this one. Did you have any specific style or material preference in mind for it? My personal favourite of the rugs you linked is the final one, because it reminds me of geometrically patterned Aztec-type rugs. It's very contemporary, while the second has a more traditional feel to it. All three go with the colour scheme of the room, but I think the second might work better with the decor. Which one are you leaning towards at the moment?...See MoreOversized floral mural for spare bedroom
Comments (19)Wow thanks for all the comments! Carolina that bed is perfect and such a good price too! I think I've found the bed... the rest should be easy :D MATH I had thought about matching up with the en-suite but I don't feel like it needs to match. This is what I am having in the en-suite, with large white hex tiles, but struggling with finding the right floor tiles. It does look like there is a touch of dark blue in the mural - a few leaves - so hopefully it won't clash. I love a couple of the murals you have posted though......See Moreminnie101
