Bi folding doors
We need something to feel cosy in the winter and as we are open at the back, something to close in the evenings all year round.

What a gorgeous space - I bet you can't wait to make the most of it now the weather is getting warmer!
There are a few suggestions we'd offer. It's hard to tell from your photos what material your doors are, but for uPVC frames we offer something called PerfectFit. This is where the blinds clip directly into the frame without the need for drilling, and is available with our Pleated, Roller and Venetian blind ranges.
Alternatively, a Roller blind would create a really sleek and stylish look. I've attached a picture of our Painterly Duck Egg Roller blinds at a bi-fold door as an illustration.
However, for a cosy feel, as you mention, a Pleated blind is also a fantastic choice. Attached is an image of our Montoya Azure Pleated blinds to show how well they can make a statement at the window. Our ThermaShade range is also a great way to stop heat from escaping from your windows - the clever honeycomb fabric traps heat and will contribute to the cosy effect you crave.

8 years agowow - what a huge expanse of glass! That will be gorgeous in the summer... but you might want both shade from the sun and something more substantial in winter. We obviously suggest a set of full-height shutters. White shutters won't reduce light (they'll bounce it around) and they can be designed to fold right back. They also have the benefit of greatly increasing insulation levels in winter! And with plantation shutters you can alter the light levels by opening or closing the slats. I like both but it’s nice having the bifold that can be stacked providing an uninterrupted view. We’ve left our bifolds open all through this hot weather. Comments (2)If you cant find a bi fold option on line anywhere then there are two options. buy a 33" door and make it a bifold or pack out the frame sympathetically to allow a 30" option allowing for the gaps needed to open and close.
