Hello, I own a quarter of a large plot with a lovely old cottage, forge and outbuildings. Sadly I cannot afford to buy the whole place, but as a family we are wondering about selling off part of the land separately.
On this land is an old garage; I park my car in front of it, but access is tricky as it is just over a hump back bridge over a canal.
I am wondering if I would get planning permission and then if I could afford to build on this plot and convert/extend the existing garage but need to understand the feasibility of this before I get drawings done, ie ideally before spending any money! Is it possible to do this, can you advise?
Grateful for any pointers, I have a very small budget, hence my questions.
Many thanks,
Rachel
