Stainless steel worktop - where is it from please?

We're weighing up pros and cons of a stainless steel island top . Please can you let me know where this one came from? Thank you!

A lot of people ask how easy it is to clean stainless steel [worktops]. The simple answer is 'very easy' and GEC Anderson recommend the microfibre cloths that have been mentioned by a number of contributors, in combination with cold water. Simply wipe down the worktop after use to prevent build up of streaks or marks - especially, in hard water areas. And that's it! Some words of caution probably should be taken into account before making a final decision as to whether stainless steel suits your lifestyle. Stainless steel is prone to attracting finger prints and marks and so the key here is to regularly wipe down the surface so as not to let dirt and extraneous material to build up in the first place. Another thing to consider is that stainless steel will scratch and mark over time. This is perfectly normal! Scratches and marks will build up over time, creating a unique patina appearance. Simply ignore them. Your stainless steel worktop will outlast pretty much every other alternative worktop material and should provide you with several decades of useful service.

Need help for aluminium / stainless steel guttering

I'm renovating a 1960s house, and want to introduce a mid-century modern vibe where possible. Really hate the plastic guttering & downpipes, and thinking of replacing with aluminium or stainless steel. Does anyone have advice about this? Also, like the idea of rain chains to divert rainwater from the roof to the garden. I live in Sheffield. Can anyone recommend a trusted company who are experienced in this kind of work? I recently did my kitchen and utility room and was determined to have a trendy birch ply formica kitchen. However, the cost was prohibitive so we opted for an oak ikea one and made it a bit edgy by using slate tiling and really deep wall colour in places. We used birch ply formica in the utility room and in the kitchen used a thin skin of granite over MDF from a place called Granite Transformations. All in we saved a lot of money by being creative. I actually despair of seeing all of these 'bankers bonus kitchens' as it feels a bit out of most people's reach. Good luck.

The brass from the lights, copper taps and stainless steel sink maybe too much, and especially so if your switches/sockets are a different finish like polished chrome ... The copper tap could work with a SS sink if you can add copper accents elsewhere and limit the finishes to the two.

Hi - this is a really nice looking creation. I am not sure where it is from but GEC Anderson can supply the stainless elements (worktop and end panels plus door-fronts, if required). Let me know if you need any help with specifying what you require.
