Need some advice on colour scheme for living room
Comments (1)Do you have a pic? It sounds great mixed with the stone, is this on all walls? Maybe try a stone rug with a little of the burgundy in a pattern to lighten the floor. What colour are the curtains?...See Moreadvice re living room colour/layout/flooring
Comments (7)With regards to colour, One solution would be a neutral palatte for the walls with colour added by way of natural material and textures; a timber floor being an ideal starting point. There are lots of opportunities from lighting, wall art and other accessories to add colour such as the kitchen/living design below where we kept the walls and units white but added copper lighting, timber shelving, flooring and furniture to enliven the space....See MoreAdvice Please! Comments (14)Hi Emily no I haven't actually done anything since first posting actually so still really eager for other people's opinions. That is actually the way it was when we viewed the house and I agree with you but it didn't make sense for our lifestyles. We use the dining table to work on the laptops and for sewing and need the daylight from the one window on the left hand side. Also in turn the right hand side is darker and more suitable for movie nights (we have lots). Contrary to the illustration, there are no windows on the wall where the front door is so even the current dining room can be really dark if it is an overcast day...See MoreAdvice wanted on Living Room layout and decor.
