Tiny space for shower and toilet.

Considering turning small space back into second toilet / shower in our 2 bed flat. Dimensions: 1144 L x 800 W x 2311 High (mm), The space use to be a toilet before we moved in, but is just being used as small area for computer. Access would be through bedroom, so creating an ensuite. Space for toilet is enough, but want to add in shower. Any advice on fittings, design would be grateful - Thank You

It's almost not enough for a loo and basin ! Even if you put a shower in and shower doors over the entire opening and installed a blower to dry the china after a shower there's still only about 45cm of standing room and you'd need the shower doors open to use the loo - so no privacy !

You will need to eat into the bedroom space too I think....

Thanks, it was a loo before.! There is a small window so ventilation not a problem. There is also an option to bring out one side (12 inches) to allow for basin, and proper door. Ive been looking at small loo's and sinks. I think i need to visit a specialist showroom to get an idea of whats possible. Again, thanks for the helpful comments,

thank you for coming back. there is no floorpan at the moment but: no window, rectangular space, shower door opening out into the corridor at the right of the wall, shower at the far left of the space. thank you for thinking about it.

i also meant to say there appears to be a good selection of short projection loos on the market but I had a tricky ensuite to do 18 months or so ago and found the plumber could find impossible to find things (and I search for things on the internet constantly 😂) at plumbers merchants. I think it would also make the room feel bigger if there isn’t so much contrast with the floor (and depending on whether you keep the skirting boards or not but I wouldn’t opt for white if you do as it makes the room feel smaller with the stark contrast)

Dear Charlotte, the best option to buy shower pan and rail with a curtains , or to build one, instead of the bathtub. Here just examples , what to look for. The shower head it in the highest position now, its means if we take bath out we have more height to the floor. I have same made at home if you be interested I will add my shower pictures. Here last one is example, easy to build separation wall somewhere 3-5 cm, with a good drainage and no problem water from shower moves fast. The best wishes .
