Incorporating the alcove into the living room

I would like ideas on how I can extend my sofa set from the corner wall all the way Upto the window without having to look the sofa near the window out of place?

Some brainstorming:
1. Extend the back of the sofa by the two feet so that the seating is on the same level as others

2. add a panel to the alcove to level the room but that would mean a waste of 18sqmtrs

Any ideas with be highly appreciated.

It's still on their website. They can probably mix it for you. Think it's best to see which shades of blue appeal to you and try some out. If you can get some blue paint swatches, take them home, make your selection and get one or more testers to test it out on the wall. Midnight Navy by Crown looks lovely too.
