Need to help to re-design/redecorate bedroom
Comments (9)With this being a guest room, I'd go for something light and simple on the walls but bring some colour and texture through with accessories. You seem to have alot of storage in the space, i'd de-clutter these and throw out some of the wardrobe's that you have. Think about having a storage bed so you can hide some of these away. In your alcove, we'd recommend using this as a dressing area. You could have a mirror on the wall and have a small desk/built in shelf put in. again keep this lightly coloured and the mirror will help reflect light from the windows and lighting you may have. Take a look at our web-site for further deisgn ideas and the different beds that we have available. Comments (5)Hi there The best person to help you is a trained designer who can stand with you in the loft and go through your requirements point by point. In order to design well it's important to have a good understanding of the space. What is the Available headroom and slope? How the light comes in? What is your budget? What's going on in the rest of the house? Does the space as designed flow? How tall are you? How physically fit are you? Do you have young children? Where will the ironing board be? Do you like ironing? etc The person who knows the answers to the questions above will come up with a better design than the person who does not know. When you are spending a lot to get it built its best to have it designed well so that you can enjoy the finished product. Hope it makes sense IT...See MorePOLL: Favourite colour in a children's room?
Comments (8)My childrens' bedroom is saffron robes orange. It's a Crown colour, can't recall the name on the tin. The room is east facing with a large window and high ceilings so gets the most clear and beautiful morning light, but then needs a bit of a colour boost later in the day to stave off deep shadows. My daughter chose it herself when she was 2 1/2 and she still loves it now, as does her younger brother now he shares with her....See MoreOne of My Favourite Bedroom Decors
Comments (0)In more than 25 years of my building career I have built many houses for many families and completed many bedrooms. There are some of them in London that I like. This one I made for a just-married couple. The idea of making a dedication in building a new life for the young couple inspired me and therefore I chose the bright colours and looked for the way that let the sunshine light the whole room. Because the couple were young, I chose the modern design but still tried to keep it look warm. Now I would love to share my story for the people here, hoping that it can help some people to have some ideas in building their new nests. Building is not only a work, it is also an art of feeling the customers' feelings and desires in their home....See More2PM Architects
