Window dressing for patio door.

Loving my new kitchen, but need some suggestions for dressing the patio door which is opposite the kitchen table. I could also do with some suggestions for accessorising an art on the walls. Thank you

Hi Dawn,

Love your new kitchen! We offer a system called PerfectFit, which allows blinds to sit inside the uPVC frames of windows or patio doors. They clip in neatly, without the need for drilling, and then become an integral part of the window, which means they won't flap about in the window. The frames are also super discreet, meaning you won't eclipse your lovely new doors.

I've attached a couple of photos below which hopefully demonstrate this a little better. We offer Roller, Pleated and Venetian blinds in this system, which gives a lovely range of fabrics and slats.

Hi - putting our ideas forward for your beautiful new kitchen. Love the soft, warm combination of the wood and the pale blue tiles, so why not pick one of those colours out in some full-height shutters? We can colour match to pretty much anything so you could make it a real feature. Then just a few simple pictures in similar colours - some pretty seascapes - in a beech frame would finish the whole look. Good luck with your search.

Voile blinds will let a lot of light in and aid privacy Wooden tape blinds look like shutters from the outside and are quite trendy. Also the weight of them means that you don't particularly need to worry about the blinds flapping when opening and closing doors. You can have the blinds and tapes in a multitude of colours. We have them on our spa Also, If allowable, for better privacy as the patio doors open on to a car park, maybe some sort of screen ie a Glass Ballustrade for outside. That way you can open the doors and not bee seen.

If you have wall lights on the pillars then you wouldn't be able to have one long pole, but I think that would look best and the most minimalist solution vs 3 separate poles. You can also get blinds fitted to the recesses of the door which can look really good as they're not noticeable when closed

Hi, It is a tricky one :( Do you want curtains? If so, a small track rail (like what is there at the moment) it probably best as it is slim and allow curtains to be out of the way of the door hinges when open. Otherwise, for a more minimalist look, you could get « clip on » blinds. Hi there! We have recently changed furniture and gone modern . Want some ideas of dressing this French doors and windows with curtains/blinds etc to gain maximum light and also make the room feel warm . Don’t need to close them just for look . Any recommendations much appreciated . Many thanks

Hi, in my last house I had voiles made that were separated in the middle so that they could be drawn back. I also had a covered pelmet and dress curtains made to frame the window - I thought it looked lovely.
