Still looking for a coffee table, any advice?
Comments (27)Search eBay for coffee table and sort the search by what is nearest, suddenly you'll have a selection of easy to pick up coffee tables that aren't on the websites. It might be that you see something nice and mid century, or even a slightly antique one. But I'd say give it a go....See MoreHelp with Bachelor pad! Help a single guy out!
Comments (17)Hi - I think you should paint the wall where the tv and pictures are in a darker shade and definitely add a fire feature. Have you considered getting a larger tv? - I think that would look good. A lighter rug would change the look of the coffee table and if you didn’t want to change it you could always have a glass top made to soften the look. The paintwork would look better an off white -it looks a touch too creamy. If you add a couple of dark cushions that would give you a nice contrast. Hope that has given you some ideas....See MoreWhat type of coffee table will work well with this sideboard?
Comments (8)I like both suggestions by At No 19 with the additional thought that if you go for an ottoman a round one would tie in with the sideboard design. I'd definitely try to add extra colour and texture to your scheme to give the room interest. Unless your lounge is huge, I think it's both practical and fun to have several smaller pieces that can easily be moved around the room to provide as coffee table and/or extra seating. The space then becomes more flexible and the floor isn't taken up with a large piece of furniture in the centre of it. Comments (56)My friend has rich cream coloured blinds and they just have a grubby “smokers” look about them (God I hope she’s not on Houzz!). There are many different whites and some are textured so you can see the grain through without being dinghy....See MoreTani H-S
