Wallpaper or paint for a house yr selling?

I really can't decide whether to just paint feature walls with colour rather than wallpapering if we are selling the house we are renovating. I've seen some beautiful papers but people have such different tastes that I wonder if it's worth the money and time by papering??

ie the small WC upstairs we've just decorated (all white at the mo) was going to have bookcase wallpaper (silver one) but I can't decide if I should paper it or just keep it simple with an easy colour on the back wall etc

Same with the dining room area of the kitchen which opens to the garden. I liked the new green palm tree paper part of the glitterati range which I think would look great, but is it too much?

I can of course decorate with pictures instead that I can take with me.

What's your views? From a purchasers POV when buying a property?
