Arguably the most personal of all living spaces, our bedrooms need to be the one space we have total control over. Making it comfortable and cosy is a lot down to the colour choice, but which bedroom colour ideas work best for you?

Comments (4)I agree with you, the blue they've got in the advert doesn't look so great. It's definitely not cozy either! Maple tends to have both gold and pink tones, and so goes wonderfully well with all shades of orange. How about a pale wood floor with apricot and ivory tones? You have some good ivory colours in your second picture. I would start with choosing a rug you liked, I've uploaded a picture of one I would choose which would go well as a starting point, but there are lots to choose from.
