Help with choosing colour for outdoor cladding

Can Someone help me with ideas on cladding
I am not sure what to go with, we recently changed the windows into pvc dark colour and changed the roof
Also the garage door needs to match the cladding obviously
I'm in a bit of a dilemma
Pictures are welcome

No Problem :) One thing for both of you is that the brightness of LED bulbs is not really rated in Watts any more. Lamp brightness is measured in Lumens. When you're looking at the specification of an LED fitting, whether it is a dedicated LED lamp or a replacement for a standard bulb pay attention to the Lumens output. Better quality LEDs will generally have a higher Lumens output. Also check colour temperature measured in Kelvin (the lower the number the warmer the colour - 2700K is warm white and similar to halogen bulbs, 4000K is cooler and more suitable for security lighting). Also although not specifically relevant in this case, for interior fittings check the Colour Rendering Index. This dictates how well colours are shown by the light fitting. 100 is the same as daylight and most halogen lights measure around this figure. High quality LEDs are around 95 and lower quality start at 80. Finally, some LED replacement bulbs can be bigger than their incandescent equivalents so you will need to check how much space you have in the fitting to see if the LED will fit. Hi Heather, If it were me I would keep it all white, clean, modern / contemporary. Rather than clad in PVC check the woodwork and make any repairs as necessary then paint it white. Paint the eaves & facia board at the top white as well + new white guttering / down pipe. As PWJ says, check if planning is required. If you had some budget left consider plantation shutter to each room (inside) This is an interior feature that will add to the look of all rooms but what I always find is that it also adds to the external look of the house... I agree with your friend that travertine will be a nightmare to keep clean - too many nooks and crannies for dirt to nestle into! I love porcelain tiles, they are tough and so easy to clean, quick hoover and a mop. I have them in a dark grey slate look a like In my kitchen. They come in so many forms from wood effect through to all the stone effect finishes. Worth going to a good tile store and have a good look around. Bring the door with you so you can colour match. i think any of the F&B beige neutrals will look good on the walls. I particularly Purbeck Stone and Skimming Stone. I’m not sure if grey is right with the cashmere doors, you need something warmer perhaps?

My husband is colorblind too (and our 4 year old too). Can't tell the diference between pale green and beige, between purple and navy. He lets me pick the colors for our house and simply says if he likes certain combinations or not. Even if he can't tell what color it is, if it looks good as a whole, he's fine with it. So even if you can't relate to a color, but it looks okay or in balance with the other colors, trust the wife. ;) All earthtones could be lovely, but some pop would be fun too (like sage/seablue). Just depends on the feel/style you want to achieve.
