I'd have to say stay away from silver as I think it will clash with both the floor and the furniture, which are neutral tones. A light oak curtain pole and pale neutral curtains with a natural material if you're going to go with the curtains. These are a similar colour to the furniture, a shade or two lighter to lift the room, but should work well with the blue of the wall and the floor and the furniture. curtains 2 Go You could also have the curtains, just for show and couple them with Roman blinds in the blue, which I personally think would look amazing. Hi, I don’t think it’s too small either! If you reposition your rug so it’s slightly under all the legs of the sofa (not just the chaise part) and put a coffee table on it you’ll probably find it has more focus and purpose. A larger rug would be good, but I think this will work if your budget doesn’t stretch.. also move your dining table further away from the walls so it isn’t tucked away in the corner. Other things like a nice throw over the arm of the sofa, low hung prints on the wall behind and plants will also help. Also, is that a bar trolley next to the dining table?? If so, get it stocked up so it’s more of a social area x

So, I've thought about it :-) Looked at your inspiration photos and came up with this. Be honest about what you like or don't like. The rug is from Dunelm https://www.dunelm.com/product/think-royal-nomadic-5746-grey-and-blue-rug-1000138143#Colour%20Group=Grey Cushion covers: HM Home (cheap and cheerful) Nest of tables and knitted pouffe: Wayfair And I thought that a solid green fabric could be nice for the footstool.
