If there's one thing we can all count on in a home, it's that we'll have too much stuff and quite frankly not enough space to hide it all! A dilemma like this means that we often have to get creative with our storage solutions.
So, if you've done anything creative, maybe used a suitcase or found a secret spot for shoes and clothes, or just have a great storage system in general, we'd love to see it. Comment or leave a photo below!

PRO9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoHello Tom, Whilst it isn't storage in the usual sense of the term.. As part of what I do I accrue a lot of sample items... So I find unusual ways to make them into art on occasion, rest of wall needs a mirror but wooden flooring samples have never looked so good! ... : ) )

Just make sure that you get as thick a top layer as you can (at least 5mm) and the overall thickness is at least 15mm for quality. Comments (12)Hi, I wasn't really meaning take the console away and move the table so far as to close the gap, more take the table away and use the room to create space. You look like you have a lot of room up by the door on the wall facing. If you remove the ladder shelves, you could replace it with a dresser or sideboard. We have a painted Queen Anne sideboard, you can fit loads in it and it's only 50cm deep. A dresser to match your table would look great too. Comments (11)We've just had this beauty built by our joiner/kitchen fitter (all round genius) - I love it! It is 89cm deep x 125cm wide with a 60 door. I can stand inside it comfortably. Shelves are 30cm depth all the way round and at heights specified by me. I was very specific there should be room for a sack of potatoes underneath (I am that sad ;) and I also have my mini cordless run around hoover charging in there. 4 metre high ceiling in apartment with strage issues...pull down hanging racks
Teenage boys would rather room space than clothes space but this is a little of everything for a late teen for clothes, sport, study and sleep. His overflow clothes are stored in the desk drawers, which double s file drawers.

PRO9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoWe turned our London clients tiny understairs into a champagne cellar with bespoke black lit glass shelves, mirror glass walls, hidden understairs wine shelving and a boxed panel wall for AV.
Small spaces used creatively are utilarian and add value, and in this case gave the lobby a fab new feature visible on entry. Space, wherever you live is a premium.
