Hello comegetme, Well that is a hard one to just pin down to 1 favourite.. I look at the space and then decide who and what.. So I have many... There are many other parameters to consider too.. but interesting, unique and imaginative is as important as beauty and quality, even wallpaper has to have a function.. it's not just looking at it from the design or colour perspective.. .. Hope you're getting on okay by the way.. : ))

thanks for your comment. I know there is lovely wallpapers out there (when you look online) but interested do they translate on walls well - has any brand got the edge, and also in terms on quality, ease of use.

I quite like both of above ideas - perhaps combined. - Eg. textured gold velvet. Another option could be a nice airy neutral like ivory. If you want to cool the palette a little - depends on which wall colour you go for of course. If you go with a texture or pattern go with a smaller scale than the wallpaper pattern scale, Something gentle and subtle. If you go more neutral the ivory or cream might be nice with some texture. Just be aware darker the material on the window (rather than lighter colour) will take light from room. Good luck.

Louisep2012, I have something very similar in my dinning room - it has been up for six years and I love it. The ferns are slightly metallic and catch the light. I had some artistic notion about bringing the garden indoors as that room has French doors out onto a patio. I haven't kept all the room to chrome/silver though and have a mix of silver and golds in there, see pics below.....have never got tired of it!

Thanks forzaitalia. The loo comes off the hall, which has real wood flooring, so not keen on using fake wood flooring - think it might look odd. I guess plain tiles is the way to go. Just had it in my head that we'd have very fancy tiles - i really like the mosaic ones, but I guess it'll clash with the wallpaper.

Hello comgetme, Good to hear! Well of all my accounts (over 25 and growing) I always like fewer rather than the whole range.. I'm sooper sooper picky! I think if you choose well for the specific requirements they do look amazing.. It's taste in the end.. Also my lovely people I have accounts with send me large samples.. So I stick it on the walls and live with it for a while.. See how it works with other aspects of the room and light changes.. I would suggest this for a client as well and paint.. It needs to be seen in all lights..

For a few that I love.. Zoffany, Cole & Son, Altfield, HoH. I really like the amazing and the less mainstream but really good quality and high end aesthetic is a must..A lot of papers are now paste the wall, which is great and HoH even have markers for cutting so the pattern repeat is already aligned based on a standard wall height. You cut 1, 2, 3, 4 lay them out and away you go..
