What flooring with Iroko worktop and cream gloss?

Please could someone save me!

I am having a new kitchen fitted and decided on Iroko wood laminate worktop and cream gloss slab doors (with brushed steel handles)

What type of flooring would go well with this combination?
I am trying to avoid any wood floor as I plan to have solid wood flooring in the living room.

Ant help is greatly appreciated.

Bluish slate would work really well with the warmth of the worktop.

Depending on the make of kitchen you choose, there may be a number of "white" available, ranging from a crystal "bright" white to the more yellowy end of white. It's always a good idea to try and take any door samples outside to view in natural light as studio/showroom lighting may alter the tone somewhat.

A pale warm stone coloured splash back would work with the units and complement the rich wood. Have you tried standing one of the floor tiles up against it to see how warm neutrals would look?

You could go for any colour really, as the units are neutral and so is the floor. Granite and Quartz come in many shades, but I think the lighter shades are nicer and easier to live with. I can’t see your samples very well as they are reflecting too much light. I also like the green organic looking shades, see below, but whether you will tire of them is another matter! I have cream units too with an oak worktop. They do have to be re-oiled every 3-6 months but that’s no real hardship. However, granite is much tougher.

This is a kitchen we designed and built, the homeowner wanted Iroko woorktops and the flooring to match so we found reclaimed Iroko and created the floor for her. I would go with a grey tile of some description.

My preference would be grey polished porcelain!
