We are struggling to find a wall colour to match and enhance our duck egg blue kitchen units.

Unfortunately, as we only supplied the cupboards and worktops for this project, the client chose the wall colour and we sadly do not have this information on file.

I have very similar coloured units and wall colour. The wall colour I used was Dulux Barley Twist. A lovely combination.

Update - alabaster painted oak units, oak worktop, (curved end units and worktop corners) belfast sink, 1100 stainless steel rangemaster porcelain large high gloss ivory 600x600 floor tiles, ivory grout - please see attached look book just still to decide on shade of sage on walls - deciding between F&B Mizzle, Vert De Terre, Ball Green and Cooking Apple Green... Also metro sub/way tiles on walls - whether to go for a sage tile or cream/white... The dining room area off the kitchen will have oak parquet floor which will follow through from hall and will also be in the lounge but Im thinking of following the wall colour in the kitchen through to the dining room for continuity and potentially painting the chimney brest or wall furthest away from and facing the kitchen a darker green complementary colour... Thoughts please

Tamp75, I’ve never really noticed the splash back before. It is a plain clear glass (or at least is supposed to be) but it does look a little aqua up close. Thank you all for the great suggestions, I like that they are quite diverse. I’m going to get testers of each and paint them onto lining paper. I may repost for opinions once I have the swatches.

@Ewa Mc - I used Dulux in my own kitchen but sadly they discontinued that now. for one of my clients we used this one: https://amzn.to/2Dj9uB3 and it worked just as good. There are 2 tips I can give you - don't rush the paint. It need to dry completely before you apply the next layer. Be generous with the paint - put on thick layers. And go for 6-8-10 layers. Leave it for at least 2 weeks before you start writing on it. It's not like the fridge but good quality magnets that are not too heavy hold onto it. We drew a big tree on it and decorated with square family photos printed on magnet with Cheerz (an iPhone app). All the magnet printing services I tried this was the best but the magnets come slightly curved - so I put them on the fridge for a few days to straighten them out - after that they hold perfectly onto the magnetic paint.

I'm so sorry, but I've only just seen your posts and all your hard work with the mock ups!!! I didn't get notified. Thank you so much this is so helpful!!! Seeing the Photoshop mocks ups makes us realise we don't want to go two tone on the edge cabinets and like the lighter grey. Unfortunately the job hood needs to stay as we can't get it out. We would love to have a modern one added, it's just not doable without taking all the units out. We have painted the window wall which looks fab (well we think so!), picture below. We're considering ammonite or cornforth on the outside cabinets (posts included) and downpipe on the island. We're not 100% convinced the downpipe will work? What do you think? Is there any possibility anyone could use their amazing skills to demonstrate these colours please? outside cupboards ammonite and island downpipe outside cupboards and island ammonite and if anyone can really be bothered the same as above but with cornforth instead of ammonite! Thank you for your time!
