Which style of bath tub do you prefer? Free standing or in a deck?
Comments (126)You can use side panels or a deck/surround to create what is, in effect, a free standing bath that would work well aesthetically and, optionally, as part of a wetroom-style bathroom. Deep soaking tubs are especially effective for such projects; they have smaller footprint, which affords more room in the shower area, but their greater depth makes them exceptionally comfortable....See MoreHow do you make your guests feel special?
Comments (50)Homejoy! wow! that is expensive! My cleaning team asks €8 an hour and this includes windows (I have heard some companies do not, or they actually charge extra!!!), shutters, terrace, yard area, laundry, ironing, hauling out the recycling to a common area - light cleaning or very heavy cleaning, indoor or outdoor, all for the same €8. And they have a key to my house. They are now doing all my neighbors as well. I actually pay €10 an hour as they have to come a half hour and they are very flexible and are happy to come last minute weekends when possible. I do my own cleaning but this team does the heavy stuff (windows, shutters, cupboards, kitchen appliances, polishing the floor) every 10 days, so I am normally ready for drop in guests. I wish I had them more often!!!!...See More3k to do my bathroom. ideaa
Comments (9)Will you need to move any of the plumbing/replace any of the piping/waste outlets? If not... Then it should be relatively straight forward, rip out old fittings, get a plasterer in to plaster the elements that will be on show (ie not behind tiles), then just find a local firm to do the tiling and bathroom install as one job. I had to do a fair bit of prep myself as some of the piping needed to be sunk in the walls, routed under the floor so i had to chase out channels in the wall and also run piping through the floor joists... After that though i got a plasterer to re-skim where required, a fitter to fit the shower then tiled the walls and floor and then finished fitting of sink and toilet and heated towel rail......See MorePOLL: Towel bar or towel hooks?
Comments (26)Depends on the room, some designs really suits towel bar, especially when the accessories are intrinsic to the design. Other times you just want to hide things on the back of a door, so both have their place....See MoreErrant_gw
