hello, we are trying to copy your tile design, what size is the tile and how big is the grout line? thank you!

Hi. The tile is 150x75 and the grout line is 2mm.

I'm not sure if they're more fashionable? My personal preference is typically rectangular. Tiles laid in a grid pattern means you get a long grout line and leads your eye onwards so makes the space feel bigger. Laying them diagonally means you still get the long grout line but you don't "see" the edges so it feels bigger still. Large tiles are generally much better to create the feeling of space, less grout lines so less busy. It does mean your floor needs to be really level though. You also need to be careful tHat it doesn't become busy by the number of cuts needed for the tiles though!

Sound like they will look fab. My only extra comment is that the room sounds a little neutral at the moment and a little colour and pattern might be important when considering the finishing touches

Hi there, These look like porcelain tiles. We have a great range which you can see on our website www.cliftonstone.co.uk. Our 'Positano' has a similar look and comes in 600 x 600 and 600 x 300 format. I think that the larger tile only works in a big space, but this would be my favourite option if I had a large room.
