We do like a giveaway here at Houzz UK, and we really like Grand Designs, so we're giving 30 people the chance to win one-day tickets to Grand Designs Live on the 8-11th October in Birmingham!
All you have to do is comment telling us your Grand Designs dream, and you'll be entered into the draw. Whether it's a hobbit hole, a city penthouse or something a little crazy, we want to hear all about it!
30 winners will be selected at random and anyone who doesn't win, will be given a discount code to purchase a ticket. This competition closes on Monday October 5th 2015. Comments (19)For me, it was a hard pick between the open plan kitchen and the staircase but if I had to go with one, I'd side with the kitchen. The deep teal and pale blue units pair beautifully and tie with the splashback, and vases. The added gold accents in handles, vase and tap adds some lovely metallic colour to the scheme which looks oh, so good with the teal. And finally, I love how the door frame co-ordinates with the light fitting and the socket on the island with the ovens. Preferably in Palm Springs, but failing that a sea view dominated plot in Cornwall will have to do!!

- 9 years agoMy partner & I bought a fishery with 2 lakes just over a year ago, the entire 10 acre site was very neglected, but we have renovated the lakes so that the anglers have a wonderful experience in beautiful surroundings. Our dream now is to renovate the house, reconfiguring the property so that we too can enjoy the beauty of our surroundings. There is also an acre of garden to landscape, we have many ideas but ideas on where to start would be fantastic
