Ha @gabby :-) it’s called the elica seashell, I originally seen it on John Lewis website at a whopping near 2.5k!! After a bit of digging I found a seller on eBay with fantastic feedback and a great price, around 1k delivered! I took a deep breath and ordered it, about a month later it turned up, brand new and from what I can see, shipped direct from elica company themselves! It looks unreal! The light actually lights up the whole kitchen too as a large a down lighter, I have 4 recessed down lighters around my island and two large pendant light above my dining table, also have kickboard strip led and wall unit strip led lights too, so plenty of combos to light the kitchen when needed.

But if you noticed my dry kitchen and table bar countertop is all black.. What I think here, I can't used a same pendant design or black color anymore on my dining table because I need to make it contrast so my friends and guest will only keep staring on that position which is my dining table pendant.. I'm not sure whether I'm right or wrong I am not a Profesional Interior Designer, I'm Profesional Make Up Artist so thats why I need to find a Pro to help me out in my interior.. Habitat has walnut dining tables. Made.com has dark brown wood. Adventure in Furniture has walnut options too. There are loads of tables available on-line. I know because I looked at a gazillion websites searching for one for us! I think it could be hard to get the right shade of 'cream' with an on-line purchase. Might be easier to go with full timber table. Plus I think a dark wood table sounds like it would look nice and not too matchy-matchy. To blend the style of the two rooms (classic and contemporary) - perhaps a table with mid-century, or clean scandi lines? Do you have chairs already?

The kitchen looks lovely. I like the table and it works well with the lights and I'd put the eames chairs with it or a mix of chairs (an old church chair is good for keeping kids colouring in stuff in but not sure of their age! ) What wood were you looking at? However having said that, your table is butt against the bar and the legs on this table are wider than the top so if you went for this one I think you'd need to go for a short table. As kikiamack said pedestal tables are good although hard to find a rectangular one (!) or as colourhappy said an old farmhouse one would work. Would an extending table also be an option? How many do you need to seat on a regular basis? Are the lights centred over the bench?
