Yes certainly, I would however use smaller sizes, these tiles were around 700mm x 700mm, you would be best to go for something smaller, 152 x 152 victorian style like this floor we tiled recently. You can customise to suit your taste and choose from a wide range of colours and shapes. See Original Style for a full range, we retail their products.

Hello, If you are considering to change the flooring as well than I would suggest you to ignore the colour of the floor as later it may be harder to change the colour of the wall. You could go for grey, white, yellow, olive green too. Izabella StJames Design Interiors

I think priorities depend on the property & your situation, e.g, children or not. With our last property (previously owned by 4 single men in their twenties) the bathroom was an absolute priority. There was no way I was going to use that bathroom with shagpile carpet! The kitchen was also a top priority - the cabinet doors had been painted with textured matt paint & I wouldn’t like to guess what was splattered all over them! The oven also went out the door on our first day! In our current house, (we now have children) we’ve completely renovated with rooms being relocated but bathroom (carpet tiles) & kitchen had mini makeovers to keep us going. However, our main priority was our children’s bedrooms. Our own bedroom has never been priority - we’ve always sorted living areas first.

The floor is straightforward and neutral. When the mint pain is gone you probably won’t even notice it. Patterned floor tiles are lovely but I bet they date really quickly, they seem like a trend to me. If all you did was paint the walls a dark blue the whole place would look better and it’s only paint! Easy to change if you don’t like it or it goes out of style.
