Rug colour to go with Charleston Grey walls

Can anyone help me to find a rug/runner 2ft 3" wide to go in a hallway. The walls are painted Farrow and Ball Charleston Grey and the rooms leading off are in Ammonite and Pavillion Grey and Stony Ground. The wooden flooring is dark.. I've tried pale grey but that look wishes washy. Any help much appreciated. Ali's I need it asap.

It looks like you have neutral bedding, carpet and curtains already so you can put any colour on the walls. When you look at testers make sure that you like it in electric light. If it were my room I would choose a stronger colour as it will be broken up by a lot of neutrals......I say take inspiration from the rest of your house- choose a colour from the same pallet to those used in other rooms so that the each room feels like it has come from the same imagination and has a sense of increased space and flow.

Thank you minnie101 - I have a 1990's Charles Church house - it's one of those really difficult houses to get right, without literally starting again! I'm just going to work through room by room and hope it works - very daunting as I don't have a clue about interior design! You're going to see a lot of "help me" posts on here lol!

When you say your wall colour is “strong white” do you mean Farrow and Ball Strong White? Looks lovely. I’ve got the same dilemma-Dove Grey units in an east facing room which gets not much light. I’ve tried a million samples and can’t find that “right one”. Thanks
