What colour pleated blinds?

I have a modern contemporary kitchen, with light grey walls but I'm struggling with the blinds on two sets of patio doors.

Comments (7)I've a slatted wooden style blind in my bathroom in arctic white. It has a textured white paint finish where the wood pattern shows through. To cope with the damp it is not real wood but looks like the real thing. I got it from online company Blinds2Go and it was very reasonable priced. It is quite heavy and sturdy with wider slats and much nicer than some you can buy. You send them the measurements and they will make them up. Comments (2)I like what you've done so far! My suggestion is to go hunting for vintage saris on ebay, and make a blind from that. I think they're beautiful and while they wouldn't suit every project, they certainly would suit here. You'd struggle to match the green, but cream, pale grey, or heavily embroidered with gold or silver thread would all look great, or perhaps maroon or dusty pink if you want a contrast. If your window is wider than one sari width it might take some juggling to take advantage of the most embroidered end, but I think it would be well worth it....See Morewhat colour blinds go with brown uvpc windows?
