Having recently invested in a Nutribullet, I actually began to wonder how I'd gone so long without one! Knowing now that it's likely to be a product I use for the foreseeable future, it got me thinking about all the appliances and products that I rely on and cherish!

So whether it's a kitchen appliance, a trusty cleaning product, a hairdryer or a teddybear, we'd love to hear some of the products you've learnt to love and lean on!

Products/items I love and use on nearly a daily basis: Kirkland surface cleaning wipes, bedside touch lamps, a quality walking pencil umbrella, oven pride, muji cotton buds, stainless steel stacking steamer, microwaveable hot wheat bag, suction hook hung squeegee in the shower, vintage glass bottle with typhoon pourer for my cooking oil. It's all the little things that can make life just a bit more of a joy I find.

Hello Tom,

Well, there's a few things I'd love... Chrome Kitchenaid Mixer for starters.. I love some things and they can't be new! Such as old silver cutlery, heavy Georgian rummer glasses.. Linen table napkins and then there's the practical things... Waking up to the smell and sound of the coffee machine... Gurgling and bubbling away with the aroma of freshly brewed cup....

I wake up to a white china large cup of hot steaming coffee... Splendid! : ))

I'm feeling pleased to say I have now be later in life been enjoying some of the things I'd love to have, for some time so they don't count for my 'one thing I'm still hoping for..' I love my upmarket induction hob with timer that saves my food from my memory when distracted by a phone call for a chat-length of time; no day goes by without the thrill of pulling open my kitchen's larder cupboard where the contents are so visible and high space is utilised. I agree with ? about having a bidet and have just had one installed and another wish - a walk-in shower Yeah!

Hello Emmeline, Mine is partly my initials AJ and then what I do and how I do it. Interior design is as much about styling or style as it is design. The "Eye" is very much on the design of each product as well as how it goes together- focusing on client & space.... People come to me for my excellent taste! My kitchen refit starts 3 weeks today but won't be finished until next year when I have decided on the splash backs. This has been a project 2 years in the making due to several builders agreeing to do the work only to never hear from them again & also some very poor service from kitchen shops. Finally I have a builder on board who will move a doorway to accommodate the new position for my fridge freezer and fit a Second Nature kitchen in elm that is to replace an old cream shaker one. Most of the appliances are staying as they are newish but for the first time I will have a dishwasher, a wall mounted oven so I can see what is cooking & a Franke under mounted corner sink which was a brand new ebay bargain. I am switching from gas to a white induction hob that will hopefully fit seamlessly into white quartz countertops. I am so excited, all this in a 2.6m x 2.8m kitchen. I have also asked the countertop peeps to smooth off an additional piece of quartz to fit the sink aperture so I can use that as additional work space. I am boring my boyfriend with endlessly searching for the best deals on things and trying my luck haggling which is not usually like me but lots of fun! My last recipe was for a Vegan Chocolate Cake. My friend is Vegan and she was visiting one morning and because I couldn't find anything nice in the supermarket so I thought I'd try and bake my own. I've got loads of cookbooks but I find it easier to search the website Allrecipes. People cook something and share it on there, others try the recipe and then rate it. The cake was delicious by the way and was enjoyed by everyone, Vegan or not!

My Delonghi coffee machine. It's the first thing that is switched on in the morning and then continues to keep me happy all day .
If it's possible to love a machine then l love mine !

We bought our zanussi microwave in 1984. My husband likes to be at the cutting edge of technology and even the more than £700 price tag didn't deter him. It has a temperature probe in addition to a timer and still works perfectly today.

Nutribullet ( too), stick-blender, varieties of loose tea-leaves together with a bunch of those little pinch-together balls which work like washable tea-bags, my noble cafetiere, a darling little milk jug, good quality vegetable peelers, several small sharp knives, sieve in my sink to catch veg bits, a small round tray.... And a child's seaside plastic bucket for small household jobs.

When I was 18 in 1983, I carried a leCreuset Volcanic casserole back from Calais on a day trip. It was very heavy, and about half the price they were in the UK at the time!
I love it, it's still in very good condition and cooks casseroles and other dishes perfectly.

Method granite cleaner!! Always have to have a replacement ready in the store cupboard! Jo Malone scented candles! And of course my favourite little vegetable knife - cheap as chips but has moved house with me for 15 years plus together with a lovely little jug that I cherish! X

How do you find the nutri bullet. I am thinking it would be nice but not sure. Also want something that locks the sugars in the fibres as better for health.

Fruit juice etc can lead to diabetes if fibre is broken down and sugars are released. How would you find it for vegges and fruits with skins left on? :))

A microwave oven is the device I'd find difficult to live without.

Rechargeable batteries are so useful.

LED lightbulbs. I can remember the days when the choice was between a 40W, 60W or 100W filament light bulb. Now there is so much choice and variety including ultra low energy bulbs like the G9 LED lightbulb of 1.5W I use in a table lamp (gives out the equivalent of 10W).

@whirligig - I'm another fan of using a squeege in the shower. It's so quick and easy to keep the shower clean.

My Morphy Richards Soup Maker! I have had it a year and have made so many fantastic soups in it. I was initially dubious and thought I really don't need a gadget to make soup, but its so easy to use and such a time-saver and I wouldn't be without it.

My freezer saves me heaps of money, vacuum cleaner and automatic washing machine save work, kettle which turns itself off, and my log fire.

My cast iron baking stone I use for making Welsh cakes. It was my grand fathers (which may have belonged to his parents before) and is at least 90 years old.
I ruined my mums hob with it, it melted all the knobs, so I had to wait until I moved out before I could use it again!!!!

sorry, i know it's an old post but .... my wooden ironing board. It was given to me when i married in 1978 by a lady who was given it as a wedding present to her 50 years before that... yes, it's that old! I re-cover it now and again with pillow cases using my trusty staple gun. I wouldn't be without it !!
