How do I change the email address that was used to register the app pl

I cannot find a way to save ideas using ipad. Hiw di I use the book you mention, amd how do I change the email address That I used to register to mu new one? I cannot send saved images to my new email address.

Hi Eirlys,

Thanks for your note! You can change your email by using Houzz desktop version. Log in to houzz.co.uk, then click Your Houzz (top right corner), then click Edit Profile (a button on your cover photo). You can update your contact information from there.

When you tap the save button on a photo, do you get an error message? Or do you get a pop-up window view with a message to save the photo to an ideabook? It would be great if you could clarify where in the user journey you're unable to continue. Thanks!

So funny! I'm planning to paint the bannister at the new house (TNH) black and am veering towards painting the treads and risers black too... I've been searching for images of black staircases on Houzz and putting them in my entrance hall ideabook. They are few and far between. In your case, I think, with your white walls, maybe the stairs white and the bannister black? (Assuming the white walls continue up the stair walls enabling the b/w contrast.) You've already put black firmly into the equation, adding some more may give more reason for the black rad cab. In my case, there is a very off-centre radiator that could so very easily have been directly opposite the front door in TNH which is rather annoying as it stuffs up the focal point. We are leaving here with every radiator covered with a cabinet - and going to TNH that has loads of radiators ...but no cabinets! Yes, the work ahead is daunting - especially since the area of Ireland we're going to is very basic and not full of DIY resources, etc. I keep thinking I'll paint TNH white - to make things simpler(!) But try as I may colour keeps wandering through my mind! Lovely to be in touch again!

I can't help but speculate that perhaps the reason so many houses featured are London based or more high-end properties is because most of the case studies are uploaded by architecture or design professionals who employ professional photographers to show off the finished results. These services aren't cheap and I don't imagine these companies get too many requests from owners of smaller 30's - 70's era homes, especially from outside the capital, because the homeowners won't see a return on the investment. I would have thought requesting design-savvy home owners load more of their own photo's would help bridge the gap. Perhaps on the next newsletter you can ask homeowners to consider contributing any photos of spaces they are particularly proud of?

Hi Sam If you are making any changes that require building regulation approval then you will need drawings for this application. As you are adding a shower room and relocating the kitchen I'm guessing that drainage and plumbing will be a consideration. £500 is reasonable for a set of plans and you should expect an existing and proposed layout with enough detail to satisfy any building regulations and to allow a contractor to provide you with an accurate estimate. Ideally you will know what your new layout (new walls, openings, windows, etc) and kitchen design is so this can be incorporated. The architect can advise on this but as you say - they may just draw what you are proposing. Using an interior designer may well save you time and money in the long run. They will be able to prepare floor plans and advise on the optimum layout to make the most of your space (including kitchen design). Interior designers can also create a schedule of works that can be used to go out to tender with contractors. If you are planning a whole house refurbishment don't under estimate the effort involved. A designer will be able to support you through the process and make sure that decisions are made at the right time to keep the project on schedule. Architects help with buildings, designers help with spaces, people and function! I hope this helps.

A feature wall behind the bed would look great. Wallpaper, wall mural, paint, paneling, loads of options with choices of colour pattern and texture. I’d go for a subtle wallpaper with a metallic hint to reflect the light, perhaps a faux Venetian plaster finish with peeps of metallic silver or gold or maybe a marble effect. Nice big light fitting whichever suits your taste and a simple roman blind at the window. Sit the Roman blind higher above the window so when pulled up the folds don’t interfere with the daylight. @Pam Dee .
