POLL: Wall murals - yay or nay?
Comments (16)This wall mural looks like it's for a kids room or space for a child to play/draw. If that's right, then the mural is very appropriate for the bright energetic feel it creates with its presence. Murals are one of my favourite formats of expressing bespoke art, because that's what they are, big, bold, in your face expressions of something personal to you! Bespoke artwork is what we specialise in, so maybe I can encourage you to have a look at our BESPOKE DESIGNS projects and website just to see other inspirational ideas. Thank you. iSAW - Imaginatively Superior Art Work...See MorePOLL: Yay or nay - open plan kitchens?
Comments (206)We are often approached by clients who are creating an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. To overcome some of the issues we make cabinetry which can hide away the usual clutter found in a busy kitchen. Bi-fold and pocketing doors are great in this instance as ovens and even sinks can be hidden away, making the cabinetry seem more like a piece of furniture than a kitchen. Our clients love being able to change the look of a space in an instance! It is crucial to make sure you choose your appliances carefully, i.e. a quiet dishwasher and a good extractor are of huge benefit here. As long as the space is thoughtfully planned there is no reason that it shouldn't work functional and aesthetically....See MorePOLL: Open plan bathrooms - yay or nay?

I rather prefer the idea of designing with longevity in mind.. It's less about being fashionable but more about what is right for the space and clients needs, likes, budget and so forth.. I think this is not a symbiotic relationship between shower and closet and poses no real advantage as you can easily create a luxurious bathroom or shower room with a nearby closet area that is completely separate and moisture free.. It is though, entirely a matter of personal taste, but perhaps all that is needed is a degree of further separation which houses the shower and thus the resulting moisture is contained.. : ))...See MorePOLL: See-through bathroom - yay or nay?
Comments (23)No thanks - I prefer to keep my privacy. No one needs to see their partner cutting their toenails or tweezing that stray hair of their chin. I stayed in a hotel in Athens where they had a glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom. They had curtains that closed to cover the wall and I did wonder whether they had had to install them because so many of their guests had complained....See MoreUser
