Bathroom upgrade -replace old or new tiles?

Hi - we have just bought a new bathroom suite and will be upgrading the existing electric shower for a normal shower with concealed valve and rose and putting a new more modern shower enclosure in which will mean damage to the existing tiles. The whole room is tiled white floor to ceiling and it's quite a big bathroom so we can't afford to re-tile the whole thing so are wondering if we can just try to find the same tiles and re-tile the shower area but not sure if we will get exactly the same as they are probably about 10 years old. Or do we do something different in the shower area and have completely different tiles? Need some ideas for something that will look more modern and maybe a bright colour. We are tiling the floor with a light grey concrete effect type tile so want something to go with this. I will try to post pictures of existing tiles. Thanks.
