In-ground storage / shed?
Comments (2)Hi Minnie I need IN-ground, not ON .. ideally don't want to lose any space you see. If one could sink one of those into the ground it would be okay but i suspect that they would not cope with the pressure of the earth around them or people walking on the lid. Comments (20)The box is locked with a mortice key (5 lever) and a lock that is welded into place. Not sure you can see the key hole on this image - but it is there. It’s also welded to the ground and is made of structural steel - using intimidation tactics to dissuade the opportunist. The added security is that it’s actually disguised as a planter and so most people are surprised to find it provides nearly 4sqm of extra storage. Comments (11)I have to say, a friend has a very similar set up because they are short of space - and theirs works really well. They still have gates / wide doors at either end, but it has allowed them to put shelves and hooks etc on the walls to help with storage. It isn’t ideal - but if it’s the only storage option that you have, it can work well. The only thing they have found is that it can become a bit of a dumping ground for things, so they are mindful about keeping it tidy....See Morelindavijender
