empty wall in bedroom

we are renting a house an have a large blank wall on one side of the bed and are stuck for ideas. we cannot paint or put many nails in the walls. there is no room for furniture beside because we need to walk past to get to the bed. opposite is are two wardrobes which will each have one mirror and one plain white sliding door. any help appreciated!

Comments (10)Don’t have dimensions but the en suite looks larger than it needs to be. I would move the wall between bedroom and en suite back a few feet then you could have wardrobe storage space along the bedroom side of the new stud wall. As building a new stud wall you could have a pocket door and I would put the bed and bedside tables as in the diagram above facing the window. Comments (6)I also don’t think you can live there while it’s being done. I think you should look into raising the roof then connecting the main house roof to the roof of the kitchen wing. I also don’t think you need to remove what looks like a top end conservatory. But you do need to find a good architect to help discuss what is possible and you need to think about your budget as it’s a big undertaking. 8 years agoYou can hang works using sticky strips! I offer small framed works if this is something of interest.

8 years agoI put some of my own paintings in inexpensive frames and used the smallest nails I could find so as not to do too much damage to my walls. You could always fill the tiny holes in afterwards with filler and sand them down. It's surprising what a difference it has made to a very plain wall.
