Houzz Advent Calendar: December 24th - Win a Heal's winter candle!

It's Christmas Eve and the final day of our Advent Calendar! We hope you've enjoyed our daily prize draw and the lovely items on offer, and hopefully by now you're in full-blown Christmas spirit.

To end our Advent Calendar giveaway, the 24th brings a little slice of classic Christmas to the table - a Heal's winter candle and mulling syrup! All we ask of you one last time, is to describe Christmas in one word in the comments below! This competition will run until the end of today - good luck and Merry Christmas everybody!

    LONELY

    I say this not to dampen anyone's spirit, but rather to remind folk that hundreds of people in this Country alone are just that! ALONE. As a Christian, and as much as I echo most of the adjectives in this post, my foremost thought is that we should all aim to ensure that no one is alone at Christmas.

    So, here goes, if you have a neighbour you know will be on their own TOMORROW, invite them to your home to share a meal that represents family, friendship, peace and love. If they say no, take them a lovely plate of food, have a quick chat and offer friendship, even if just for an hour.

    Go on - you've plenty of food, good hearts and loads of love, not to mention a little gift you could wrap for them.
