Bunk beds for adults + storage?

Hi there, I love the designs you on the kids bunk bed. As I have a very small flat I am wondering if you are able to do the same for adults; preferably a sound structure that can hold a king size bed and the weight of 2 full size adults? And also most importantly, the cost of it all? Thanks, lis

This can most certainly be adjusted for an adult, and if you wish we will be more than happy to try and design something in your room.

Depends on if the teen in question is average or not. Not all teens need as much space as others. But, as I am aware, you can never have too much storage space! One trick to create more storage is to place a low chest of drawers inside the wardrobe which fits in neatly when the doors are closed. Storage baskets and boxes can also be placed under the bed.

Hey SB, I just got the updates you posted today so time difference and life business adds to not being on here. I'm glad you like the color palette. I would go for the light blue or turquoise on the walls rather than the navy because of the small room. I hope the ABA works well for you. I've heard good things about it from others I'm in a Facebook group with. We are well here. Band competitions have been our life since mid-September after school began. They end next week. Son plays saxophone.

Could you not get a bunk bed where the bottom bunk is as interesting as the top? I think I would prefer the bottom bunk in this pic, if I was still a child of course! This is from roomtogrow, they have a few which are reasonable. Or alternatively 6 months rotation! Or look for the ones with built in storage in the stairs etc to save more room, unfortunately the best ones seem to be US companies, I do agree bunk beds can sometimes be overbearing but the extra floor space would be a bonus?

yes I like the jungle idea possibly, though not sure if should keep with ivy as it matches whats currently there.. , not sure about the shelves or seating by the TV though. In the room next door there is an an 8 seater table, and a kitchen island, so its not as though this is the only place to have seating I guess. I like the ideas of natural look, almost Japanese, bamboo, bringing the garden in, just having difficulty with which wall colours, what to do with the post? keep white or make a colourful feature of it, and also what colour sofa bed, rug, paint on the walls to make everything blend in. It's so difficult, can't go for a lightish sofa, as it would just get too dirty, but I'm open to all ideas and very very much appreciate both yours and Rukmini's I have no idea how to put a room pic together like that so it helps massively. They have a lot of friends round, so a comfy rug /beanbags are also great, as long as we can also put them somewhere away too, so they're not in the way
