Cast iron bath or Victoria and Albert Limestone?

Does anyone have a V and A Cheshire bath? Is it comfy, do you recommend? Whats the difference between that and a CP HART linconshire cast iron....

Did you get an answer to your question? If you want a larger comfortable cast iron bath then you could try our Salcombe or Marazion ( https://www.castironbath.co.uk/roll-top-baths.html ). We have showrooms in Islington and York where you are welcome to get into the baths to test their comfort.

I'm not sure but check with your codes department. Here where we live its a felony to not complete the work and take all the money. If he is insured through the state with his license than they can pull his bond. Worth a try.

Lol, Jesse, I had to study that photo AVSinteriors posted forever to figure out what you meant about the tile direction but after I did I do see what you mean. I never thought of it that way but logic states the water would run off the vertical lengths of grout far more successfully than it will the horizontal! I went in the current family bathroom and had a look at the tiling - very interesting. And a plan changer. I'm glad we hadn't gone too far in planning the shower area yet. Well spotted you on that tile, this is the first time I've heard anyone mention that! I love the inset teak mat-floor for the shower area of that wetroom, too.

Thank you everyone! chantelle- I love the design but thinking more brass/gold than silver. Definitely liking the picture rail and chandelier though! Alison- clever use of space there! Love the dark colouring. Headsters- loving the photo and definitely the sort of look I'm thinking. Where did you get the vanity from? Really nice. inga! Your such a tease! (((Sob sob))) love the photos, well all of them aside from the one that I have the space for. :( i should seriously just consider just getting a shower as I know this will look better then cramming a bath in but with a toddler and a concern for resale (especially due to prime school catchment) I am hesitant. Mirrors are a great idea and I do like the shape of the bath in last photo- traditional vibe. if you feel my pain for the bathroom situation then you will be even more saddened to know the kitchen dimensions! lets just say I had better not put on any weight as I may get lodged in cabinet to wall! any ideas on antique looking vanity units and gold brass looking taps would be appreciated. thanks so much to all x

Induction? No No No No No No. I don't know how many times I need to say it but please don't choose induction. It uses electro-magnetisation to heat food. I have a 21 year old daughter who has had a pacemaker since she was 4 years old. Magnets stop pacemakers. My daughter cannot live without her pacemaker and I'm sure there are many older people in the same boat. Induction hobs are not safe, they are potentially deadly. I can see the benefits of induction but manufacturers need to bring out more 'mixed' hobs (2 induction, 2 normal) to allow all the members of the family to use them. Just because it might not be relevant now, can you predict the future? What if one of your parents came round to babysit and needed to use the hob? We need to get the message out there. More and more people every year are fitted with medical devices that are affected by magnetic pulses but there doesn't seem to be any recognition from manufacturers. An induction hob could KILL my daughter, what could it do to your family member?
