What sort of flooring was used inside of the home.
I like the planking in the kitchen.
What product was it?

It's wide plank hardwood from a company called Du Chateau.

hi - you might find that having ( if the budget allows ) a round moving floor area for your equipment - it can be set up so that it turns around slow enough for you to always have the best view whichever piece of equipment you are on at the time ! failing that having two or three screens for video / TV feed on different walls can help ... also hanging a tall 'standing desk' high enough for you to work on a laptop or tablet while on mini stepper can be a good idea ! plan , plan and plan again until you know everything fits and works with space around to get on and off and space for a fridge full of cold water / can / energy drinks is a great idea too ! ( and a litter bin !) add a softer rubber matted area for free weights... oh and a whiteboard is a good idea to keep track of your timings / reps etc and steps up to a lower piece of equipment ( like a rowing machine ) can double up as step area for box jumps and tread work etc ! ( if you are into cross fit ) - sorry this is a bit of a disjointed message - I'm typing (crosseyed) on a small phone !!!

Interior doors for 1950s house

Our house is a 50s property too and we have tried to blend a 50s feel with a contemporary style... A little "nod" to the fifties, mainly through mid century modern furniture, but also by sourcing modern day equivalents of 50s features... One such thing being interior doors... We went for 4 panel shaker style doors, which we then painted in Farrow and Ball Manor House Grey... We sourced ours from Jewson, they are proper panel doors (as opposed to moulded ones) but were only about £80 each (from memory)... Good quality for the money. The other good thing with panel doors is that you can also opt for glass panels to let light through, ours are fitted to bedroom/bathrooms so we havent done that... But will do for one of the downstairs ones... Some photoes attached... First one is an original 50s door.

Hi Gillian, it's very difficult and time consuming to learn how to use a rendering software. Even after knowing the basics it would take a lot of practice and extra learning to get professional and life-like results. Have a look around for night courses in your area, they may have an AutoCAD/Sketch Up one available if this is the route you're wanting to take. When I first started, I attempted to learn but found it was far too intricate and I just didn't have the time, I instead hired someone to do it for me. I would offer clients either a computer rendered photo of what the project will look like completed or a few drawings done by myself of what the completed project will look like. The mock ups done on AutoCAD I hired someone for would cost more for the client and would take 1-3 months to complete, as appose to the drawings that would take me a few days and were less expensive.
