What does your splashback look like?
The good thing about splashbacks is that you can be quite creative with them. We've seen mirror splashbacks, chalkboard splashbacks and just bold and beautiful ones on Houzz. Sometimes they can really make a kitchen pop!

7 years agoWe've just had purple glass splash backs fitted in kitchen. Although it's a solid colour, the light reflects really well and it's not overwhelming as the rest of the kitchen is pale and neutral; also it's only in one corner. Photo doesn't do it justice. Very happy with my bold choice!

If you like the cottage home appearance then why not hang a "lace" or muslin type fabric, curtain on a thin brass, or white pole that is fitted across the glazed part of the door but only at half the height of the glass from the door handle? Even a cheap plastic coated wire for net curtains would do. Comments (347)Hi Sonia. It’s the plant with a name that I can never spell...but I’ll have a go.... tatrapanax papyfirus ‘Rex’ ???? Chinese rice paper plant. Or aka The Triffid! That’s easier to remember. 😉. Apparently they can send out suckers from the roots several meters away so my neighbours might get a few babies in years to come. 7 years agoOurs is made of our handmade tiles! We used the Whitechapel and Dove House designs. They're all made by our very talented ceramicist, Hannah, in our on site ceramics studio, and have a wonderful vintagey/Mediterranean feel to them. We love them!
