Comments (26)Well we’ve had a shift around this morning and completely swopped the dining table and sofa - Minnie101 thank you, my husband loved that idea. So the table and chairs are in the sitting room within the bay window, and the sofa is in the kitchen, overlooking the garden. Here’s some pics. It really works well and I know we will now be using that table more as we love to watch tv whilst eating! I’m not sure the traditional Parker Knoll sofa quite goes, but it’s sooo comfy so it will have to do. The cushions are temporary, as I may get some navy’ish ones instead, but if anyone has seen some nice cushions let me know! Comments (7)I agree with OWL the wall light is unnecessary- in its place put an extra downward spotlight. Since you are adding lights I would add some additional lights at the side. Separately I think you will find these types of light are not intrusive because they face downwards and are low voltage- instead I think they make houses look welcoming...See MoreRonald Boyd
