Comments (21)Where does the North become the South? To read many of the comments you'd believe London IS the South rather than just a part of it. I was born in the North East, moved South when I was 27 and to the South Coast at 37. I've worked in London but couldn't bear to live there. Personally I love the North (East and West) but prefer the South - better weather, more facilities and more job opportunities. Just retired and could have moved anywhere in the UK but moved to the South West and loving it. Comments (26)You like the idea of a feature wall, so take the advise from those who listened to you and replied with feature wall ideas, there are some really nice and a bit different wood effect wall papers, that would look good above and then just extended about 24" either side of your fire place, also the mirror could be just a little higher, the family photos you have would be better placed above the unit that your lamp is on, also pulled away from the corner about 3ft, your other wall art would look great placed above your sofa, but not the 2 flower one's, maybe try placing them one above the other on a narrow wall, and have your foot stall/pouffe underneath with a couple of cushions, almost creating a reading nook, good luck with what ever you choose to do...See Morehutchsl
