How do I make Pax wardrobe blend in with 4m ceiling

This long somewhat narrow room is to be my 6y daughter's. It is 4.9m by 2.6m and the raked ceiling is 4m on the heighest side. I would like to make the room cosy and slightly girly for her. The photo below was taken as a panorama shot. I am about to paint the room, proberbly in Antique white USA, and the carpet will be replaced in a similar colour. Then I was thinking of putting in a IKEA Pax wardrobe with sliding doors in with a desk and cupboard along the far wall. Given that there will still be 1.7m above the wardrobe how do I make the wardrobe look like it belongs there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
