can't decide on kitchen floor

We are having a new kitchen fitted. It's an open plan kitchen/diner/sunroom extension. The sunroom is going to have wooden flooring but want tiles for kitchen/diner but can't decide what colour/type. The cabinet is pale grey painted wood with a darker grey carcuss and white starlight quartz worktop. Any advice would be appreciated.

Go with something flecked in a pale grey so there will be contrast with your darker cabinets and wood in the sunroom and the flecking so it will be easy to maintain esp in your kitchen. Avoid polished porcelain as when it gets wet it can be quite slippy and the last thing you need in a kitchen.

Alternatively look at adore flooring its a vinyl tile click system which will be suitable for both your sunroom and kitchen as it will make the flow of the room better and open up the space if you can keep the same floor throughout.

I APPRECIATE YOUR DESIGN DILEMMA. THE TILES YOU ARE CONSIDERING ARE REALLY PRETTY. I ALSO LOVE THE LOOK YOU HAVE BEEN CREATING. YOUR KITCHEN SOUNDS LIKE A FIRED EARTH STYLE KITCHEN, CLASSY. I HAVE CONSIDERED THE ABOVE ADVICE WHICH MAKES SENSE FOR DIFFERENT REASONS. I WOULD SAY THAT IF YOUR NOT PLANNING TO MOVE ITS SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU CHOOSE A FLOOR THAT YOU LOVE. I DID THE FLOOR AND NEVER MOVED, SON MOVED BACK HOME WITH HIS FAMILY. I THEN LIVED IN THE PROPERTY FOR A FEW YEARS AND HAD MAJOR REGRET ABOUT NOT GOING FOR MY GUT INSTINCT ON FLOOR. I THINK THE FLOOR WILL LOOK SENSATIONAL. IT WILL BE STUNNING WITH THE COLOUR OF YOUR UNITS. JUST WARM UP WITH ACCESSORIES, COPPER PANS AND ACCESSORIES ARE VERY TRENDY RIGHT NOW. KEEP THE WALLS LIGHT. A bathroom is a humid environment - this may adversely affect a wood or laminate floor finish. The humidity or water contact could cause the floor to swell and bulge. Cushion Vinyl flooring might be a good option - having a good finish can depend on how level the floor is, often it is a good idea to overboard the existing floor boards with 15mm thick moisture resistant plywood before laying the new floor finish

I will have to have a look at the paint samples again as can’t remember all the tones. I’m sure we had Cornforth on our interior doors and it was a lilac tone grey in some lights? Anyone back that up? Nice colour but have to be careful what you pair it with. I don’t personally think you have to match your kitchen to your woodwork colour in the adjacent room unless you really like the colour and had envisaged it for your units? Re the finish. At least if you get them sprayed up locally, you can always pop a door over to get done which is cheaper than having to buy a new door via the kitchen company. That’s the only reason I wanted to paint my own units ie because it’s so hard to touch up sprayed units as they just don’t blend in the same.
