Concreting floor before putting underfloor heating down

We are looking for some advice and guidance on concreting our ground floor before putting in underfloor heating and topping it with engineered wood. Our concerns are the recommended drying time of the concrete. And also how safe is this option in regards to damp - I read that if the concrete doesn't dry completely water might go into walls to "find it's way out". Our builder speaks about drying times of 1mm per day which could be 100 days. Any advice, learnings, product recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Stef
