Comments (2)What stunning windows. Hope the Interior Design police shot the person who put the air con there. Shame. Do you need the air con? Id be inclined to remove it altogether and reinstate the missing bits, whatever the cost. No to blinds or cutouts. I'd suggest a very long 'lace' panel - puddling on the floor - drawn over so you still see the windows just not the air con part. It can be attached to the existing pole. Try ANTHOLOGY or even La Redoute - google 'Lace Panels' and you won't get nasty nets. Now the tricky bit. How about a black metal pole, the full width of the room, over the bit that sits proud of the window, but with a pair of 'hold backs attached NEARER on the wall to the window so that, when open, the curtains have a slight 'incline' to them. Hope you understood that, but do ask for clarification if I haven't explained it properly. Ps - the main curtains should also puddle so that when closed they can be weighty enough to be pushed towards the window wall. It won't look odd at all. Bee...See Morewindow treatments for bedrooms
Comments (7)Hello matthuire, A nice looking place from the photos... I would say you could have shutters or blinds with tapes that can look like shutters if the thickness is 3cm or wider up to 5cm. Because you don't have a gr8 deal going on with frames and so forth, with those sash windows you can make the blinds work.. You could have a top recess fitting for wooden venetian blind with tapes by the looks of it. This would be my suggestion for something that looks like shutters but less expensive if budget is a consideration.... The windows lend themselves to the "header" (it's the boxy part that the wooden slats go into and is fixed to the top of window, in your case the top reveal?... Or you could have a gauzy sheer roman blinds and some lovely curtains.. : ))...See MoreUrgent help for awkward window treatment

Comments (3)The ability to press a button to close my curtains without getting out of bed is definitely on the list for my dream home! This is also one of my favourite projects from SGS Designs. Great work, both!...See Morehardimcwilliams
