This could be achieved by reducing the height of the 'his dressing' cupboard (assuming you have no full-length garments), something which may make it easier to fit larger rooflights (if allowed). As minnie101 points out the existing floorplan gives you loads of storage but do you need it all? A more radical step could be to share the 'hers dressing' 50:50, have built-indrawers running along the top of the property (where 'his dressing' is), make the top right storage area smaller (or even eliminate), and have even larger windows/rooflights than One Plan suggested....See Morehome study - help
Comments (12)Hi Cazzajo, great space for a home office! Considering the size of the room you might want to focus on picking furniture that is not only functional and beautiful - but also makes the best use of the available space. Have a look at our Hub Table - you can adjust its size to perfectly fit your room and choose a finish which will match its overall style. It will look great by the window! Its modern and simple design will not overwhelm the room - but will definitely add some character. And you can visualise it in the space before making a purchase with the use of our app! (On the photo: Hub Table Straight Tapers. Also - isn't it a great colour pallet for a home study?) You might also want to pair it with our Ivy. How about a customised bookshelf on the left wall? You can decide on how long / tall / wide you want your shelf to be - and how much storage you need. Ivy is a great piece of office furniture! Let us know if you have any questions - would be happy to help!...See MoreWhacky study design help
Comments (0)Hi houzzers I'm going all out in my study - won't be to everyone's taste! The wallpaper in the pic, which i absolutely love, will be along one long wall and the bookshelves/desk will sit in front of it so it shouldn't be too overpowering. The blinds are already in place and I have two burnt orange chair beds in there. I need to choose a wall and woodwork colour to marry the blinds/wallpaper together and want to be brave and go with something dark/strong on the walls. What do you think of the colour combos in the pic? Or should i be looking at a darker, more inky/blacky blue? And would you do the windows/skirting/door in the yellow or just stick with blue for everything? Room faces north. Thanks!...See MoreSmall study - design help!
