Hello Emmeline, Love a bit of Robert Frost.. but what about a few on a light hearted note... and because they have been going round in my head since I was 8... Here's a few... A tutor who tooted the flute, Tried to tutor two tooters to toot, Said the two to the tutor, Is it harder to toot? There was a baboon, Who one afternoon, Said I think I will fly to the sun, So with two great palms, Strapped to his arms, He started his take off run, Mile after mile he galloped in style, But never once left the ground, You're running too slow, Said a passing crow, Try reaching the speed of sound! So he put on a spurt, By god how it hurt, The soles of his feet caught fire, There were great clouds of steam, As he raced through a stream, But he still didn't get any higher... .......................................................................... I don't think i'll be popular if I start reciting the works of Lewis Carroll. So.... : ))

Light framed art work or dark framed ?

Hello, This would also depend of the style of the artwork, not only personal taste. Is it contemporary, traditional? Some framed images or large scale posters may look better in thin black frame but for example if the artwork is quite plain than it looks better in thick bordered frame. Box frames are also popular. I am a designer myself and love beautiful artworks. :)

Hello Emmeline, I have black and a dark charcoal in the kitchen .. In the living room it's black and then a kind of greyish mauve which I make myself.. Most of the woodwork is painted with a colour I made myself.. My front door is charcoal by fired earth.. It's lovely with brass hardware.. :))
