The kitchen is quite small and L shaped I love the design I have done.
To bring out the colour I have two Danetti orange chairs and a small breakfast table (white high gloss ) also from Danetti it's the tiles I'm struggling with do I go for white gloss porcelain with grey grouting or grey tiles ???

Check out Fired Earth for some inspiration but I really like the wood effect tiles. They also do a marble effect which I am also a big fan of.

For quartz cheaper than Silestone & Caesarstone, you have to be careful that you are getting good quality. Some alternatives aren't good. And by good quality, I mean good quality quartz, good quality machining, templating, flexibility at installation (e.g. some machining on site can be helpful to ensure tidy up stands, edges) etc. I went through finding an alternative earlier this year. My research led me to two companies. One was Rock & Co which offers a product called Urban Quartz in a large range of colours. They have a showroom in Hertfordshire, near St Albans. There was also another company called Cambridge Worktops which is linked to Stoneworld in Kendal, which offered a quartz product called Cliveden Quartz. . There were minor differences between what they were offering in terms of the quartz products and their processing, and logistics -- and each company wanted me to believe that their approach was great and the other's approach was inappropriate. But after a lot of questioning I had the feeling that I was willing to deal with either company. And in both cases their prices involved a significant saving. In the end I contracted with Rock & Co because they had the shade of off white that I liked best. They exceeded my expectations in some respects; met expectations in many respects, and fell short just in some. So I can't say the process was issue free, but I can same that I am overall happy, and that our quartz countertop is now installed and it looks amazing.

If you look at the following images, the first one - the floor picks up the same colour from the units, is still light in tone but has some interest due to the wood grain. This seems to work. The second and third one look too tonally similar to me, the last image works as the units are darker than the floor. My preference is the first image as the gloss cashmere is very uniform, the floor really adds some interest.

Hello! It’s arrived but is being fitted Monday :0) The colour wasn’t quite what I wanted as although it’s not supposed to have any blue in it, if can look blue in some lights. I don’t mind it looking deep navy but sometimes it looks lighter. Will see when it’s all up though as with the worktop on the island and overhang, it will probably just look more black! Bear in mind the company didn’t use actually F&B paints as they mix their own. Definately advises paying for a test door first as they got the colour totally wrong at first (was bright blue!) and it was hard work getting the manufacturers to check it and do it again. They almost didn’t.

If you're looking at the J profile handleless door then make sure you get a painted and lacquered 22mm thick door and not an inferior vinyl wrapped door. The differences are the painted door has a deep J profile which you can get your fingers in and open the appliance doors easily. Also you can now have a d/washer that is push/touch open doors, i know Bosch make one. A vinyl wrapped door due to manufacturing limitations has a very shallow profile and you can't get your fingers into the groove for d/washers and fr/frz to open easily. There are a few cut and edged deep J profile vinyl doors on the market now but tbh the finish of the edging around the J profile isn't the best. As for the true handleless style as previously stated more expensive to produce, more fiddly to install (more expensive), limited choice of accessories and unit sizes unlikely to find any curved doors to suit and you have to make sure any appliances will fit underneath the handle rail. An independant supplier would be able to offer more colour choices for the handle rail than one of the sheds as there's plenty of different colours on the market.

My personal choice of those two would be white with grey grout ! But tiled like pic attached maybe ?!? Looks great so far ! Clever you !!! :-)
