what is wrong here? is it the curtains? cushions

Hi Team, I am in a dilemma. I want to change the colour of my curtains, cushions and the carpet and the accent wall which red. kindly advice which colours would go well with my seats. I am thinking of changing the accent wall to a brick wallpaper. The colour of my dining is also not going well with the curtains. I have recently moved in and I found the walls already painted. Thank you all.

so I went shopping and took photos of a few curtain fabrics. which of these would go well with my house

Hi, have you thought about ditching the curtains altogether and going for blinds - simpler, cheaper and may make the room look bigger and lighter. See phots from a recent project - those have a subtle pattern but they have all sorts.

Hello christjne, I am just getting a few images for you.. Hold on.. Oka do some that are rather good.. Also their faux flower collection is really good. This one is from them and also their velvet in Porridge and Pale Sage could be nice along with Mole colour and Caviar is one they have too that would work possibly... .. There is also the option of throws and they have one in Mole and you could also think of stones and other shades of earthy tones... Group with 1 plain mole colour to give accent but I'd say 1 of each together on 1 or 2 sides and a throw or two for the sofa.. You may find some others you like too.. They also have Mirrors and the Cesario large could be very nice, it has a nice bevelled frame with dark wood and accent of gold that would be gr8 with the dark sofa.. All depends on budget as I have many more suggestions including antiques but for something under the one roof as it were... : ))

I would suggest having functional roman blinds inside your square bay to keep the bulk out of the corners. When open, this optimises the natural light and keeps the view clear and open. When the blinds are down at night they are much more opulent and cosy than roller or wooden blinds. To dress the window I would opt for dress curtains on the outside of the bay to dress and frame the window and really make it a feature. Whether you have them soft and drawn back in a tieback or in smart clean pleats would be a personal and practical choice.

I really like the idea of G plan round table. O god I think it worked after 20 tries. This is it now .. curtains closed. I'm a single mom who just lost her job so right now I don't have money for a size made roller blind. But I am looking for some help in finding the right color curtains for the room. I was thinking about: a brown color, but I think it would have to match the furniture or it would look weird.. or a light brown perhaps.. or full white but somehow I am scared that will look clinical ór a greyish look to match the floor wich might look and match good but I'm afraid it will make the room more gloomy and

Thanks for this. They actually look quite neat and lovely. Problem is that not seen them in any home in my country...I guess we are still old fashioned. The few shops that stock them only sell to commercial offices as they are quite pricey.

Maybe you should get a lighter, more transparent material for the curtains. I would also paint the dark wood on the wall so it doesn't draw attention so much.
