We need some help in the initial planning of our kitchen side return extension. Ideally we don't want to also extend out into the garden, both to save garden space and the additional building cost. So, currently the kitchen will be approx 4.5m wide and 5.m long with two doors - one from the hall and one from the back reception room. Ideally I would like one long run of floor to ceiling cupboards (these could be a shallower depth than 60cm), an island (with space for a couple of bar stools) and a run of base and wall cabinets on the other side. We need space for a dishwasher, double over (side by side or eye level) and hob plus a free standing fridge freezer. We would like a table sitting 6 comfortably at the end by the doors. Room for a comfy chair/small sofa would also be preferred. Is this possible? Does anyone have anything similar? Or are we trying to cram too much into the space? All thoughts much appreciated.
